How to Create LVM Physical Volume in Linux Easily
Prerequisites:
1. We should identify the correct disk, Lets assume that we have /dev/sdb1
How to Create LVM physical volume?
Use "pvcreate" command to create a physical volume.
pvcreate /dev/sdb1
Where,
"/dev/sdb1" is the disk in which are going to create volume group and logical volumes.
Above command will create a physical volume called "datavg" on two disk /dev/sda and /dev/sdb.
